To be honest, I'm 50/50. If I go out Saturday night, I most likely won't come :P Or if I don't wake up in time lol.

Martin is coming up from the States, and Chevron USA doesn't have 94 octane.

Russ, are you planning to lead the group right up to Whistler?
I have invited my usual group from the early morning Squamish runs as well. We'll let the MR2's lead the way.

We will go to the Timmies in Squamish and if parking is an issue I'm sure we can use the Napa Auto Parts lot behind it and/or the Esso on the north side. From there we will head back and go to Cypress Mountain and then Seymour Mountain. This is a Vancouver Mountain drive, so we need to get in a couple of them. We may do a full Whistler drive later in the summer.

According to google maps, it's 200km (~125mi), 3 hours - 20 minutes of driving starting from Lougheed Mall and ending at Seymour Mountain.

I only get two days to sleep in and if I party Saturday night I may not wake up in time haha.. may have to meet up for the cruise up to Cypress and Seymour later on.

Really? why not try it first and if it does not work for you then at least you tried. Traffic is next to none, air is cool and crisp which is perfect for boost!

Plus by starting early, you still get the rest of the day Sunday to do whatever else you want (ie. afternoon nap!).

We will see. I have found personally that if i try to go do something, whether late or early, when very tired, i dont end up enjoying myself. I am also in mission so its even earlier for me to get up.

Oh and whats the deal on rain. If it does are we all bailing? Not a big fan of the rain and wouldnt want this to end up like the 240 cruise with one in a guard rail and one in a ditch lol.

I can only speculate that drving manner did not adjust to the conditions.
Maybe gathering like that puts a little more courage into some and caution became secondary and not the priority.

Pretty sure there will be no rain, yes its not worth going if it does.
